Reply to this commentYou sir, are a complete idiot.
Reply to this commentnicely done...
but I would prefer to run it as an app on my phone... not with html5 over the browser!!
Reply to this commentSo so awesome. Love that HTML5 is getting to this stage...
Reply to this commentI love it, except that I can't see what my ship is doing most of the time as my thumbs are in the way :(. I realise that it isn't the norm, but what if the player started at the top of the screen and the ships came in from the bottom? Smooth controls though, even on my 3GS - until the later levels!
Reply to this commentFantastic work
Reply to this commentFantastic job, this runs very smoothly, and am loving the innovative input controls :) Great demo for the Chrome Experiments booth at Google I/O.
Reply to this commentI kept getting the rotate to portrait message appearing, as soon as I turned off the debug console it worked fine.
Reply to this commentAh, OK, I tried locking the orientation (on my iPhone, iOS 5) and reloaded, and it came up correctly. Really impressive performance and beautiful graphics!
Reply to this commentYeah, I'm getting the "Rotate to Portrait" message no matter how I load it in Mobile Safari. :(
Reply to this commentPretty impressed with how smooth it runs! ^^
Reply to this commentI have tested with both Google Chrome Beta and the native browser on Acer Iconia Tab A500 tablet. The page works fine in Google Chrome Beta. But in the native browser it asks me to turn it into the portrait mode while I am already in the portrait mode. It starts rendering the game only when I turn the device into landscape mode, but then only the upper part of the game screen fits in. Why is that issue?
Reply to this commentSadly, the 'orientationchange' event is handled quite inconsistently across devices and browsers. In this case, the Android's stock Browser fired the event, but only after that updated the window's width and height. I just uploaded a new version of the game with a workaround for this issue. It should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting!
