Hey! We highly recommend you launch this experiment in Google Chrome. It may run slower, or not at all, in other browsers.
Visualize major airline flights around the world. 200 airlines with 50.000 routes serving 6000 destinations.
Your program is working fine. Continue "tweaking" and many of us will follow your progress! Would be nice to do something like what you've done, myself.
Seems like location for Pheonix Arizona is a bit off - map shows Pheonix in the middle of t he Atlantic. Otherwise this is awesome!
Does not seem to work on a late 2011 MacBook Air with OS X Lion and Google Chrome :(
Works great, beautiful thing. For all of you that whine and bitch, go out and develop something creative yourselves, you BIG WHINERS! - Works GREAT!
there are three points that are on antartica and i want to find out wich airline goes to antartica.... does anyone know which one it is?
For all of you who're glad it works in Windows -- why not try Sliverlight if you're that much of a faithful fan boy?
Yes, all of us should switch from a free and open source standard to a proprietary one from Microsoft. Now watch as I throw myself down this marble staircase!
aoky fry good
Nice script, but it would be more useful if you were able to zoom...
For the record it works fine on my box (Windows 7, Chrome 12.0.742.91)
Get rid of the mask, it's blocking hainan airlines
You can scroll through the list.
It works on Windows now! Make sure you clear your browser cache before reloading the application if you already seen the experiment before.
I've got the same problem, but I'm running Chrome OS on my Cr48.
uh, i have the exact same problem. But the thing is, I'm using chrome beta and it no worky.
I don't think the CR-48 is WebGL compatible, so none of the WebGL experiments will work on it.
Hi - Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately it is not a Chrome problem, but a Windows problem I think. I does work fine in Chrome and Firefox in my Mac OS, but OpenGL via ANGLE (which is Windows specific) is another story. There are workarounds and I will try to fix it this week. Please be patient I will fix it!
Sorry to be yet ANOTHER person to point this out but it DOES not work in crome, whats the point in putting on this site if it does not work in crome? Other then the fact it does not work its very good.
Doesn't work... Stops at "Loading assets".
Works fine in Firefox.
works fine in firefox
I'm also unable to view the experiment in Chrome, it stops at "loading assets" for me as well.
blocked on "Loading assets..." :(
