Reply to this commentSeems a bit buggy these days. Hangs Chrome when you drag a square onto the board.
Reply to this commentsuper fun luv it
Reply to this commenthave you export the global map in a jpg image? Could be interested in studying the fractal structure of the result!

Reply to this commentThis game could be so much better, but all the anonymous wordcrafters put me off playing. Players should have to sign in. I get started on something creative, only for some unimaginative fool to come along and spoil things. So frustrating.!
Reply to this commentWord1 was better : (
Reply to this commentAny chance of showing the users tiles on the mini map? I have been playing it a while and my area is so spread out, I don't know how wide it is. Not necessarily a different colour for each user. Showing my tiles in green and all the others in white would help.
Reply to this commentSounds like a fun thing to try. Let's see what we can do. :)
Reply to this commentCool!
Hoping to see my score listed in the Top Ten leader board tomorrow morning. Surprised it didn't update in real time, as other players' scores seem to. Am I missing something?
Reply to this commentYou'd be surprised how often we hear that. :)
Reply to this commentThe leaderboard updates once an hour - if it's been longer than that, try refreshing the page. Thanks for playing and congratulations on your score!
Reply to this commentWhoops! I meant, "Thank you Grant."
Thank you, Glen. For the moment, at least, my moniker appears on the leader board, and all is right in the world. I was born to play this game, yet it may be the death of me.
So...now that I've accumulated enough points to qualify for the Top Ten leader board list, how soon will I see my user name ("Aard") listed there? I see other players' scores updating in real time -- am I missing something?

Reply to this commentmy husband likes to surround people so they can't get out, now I am a laptop widow! Is this normal?
Reply to this commentAwesome! I just lost 5 hours to this! Wheezing vagina shat turd!
Reply to this commentwhy the hell it checks only vertical vords? I tried putting my tiles horizontally, but it still searches for vertical ones.
Reply to this commentInteresting game. I find myself logging in and out to find new space to conquer.
Reply to this commentFab game, it would be very funny also if you have time within to complete every single word, or some penalty in case it taks you too long to add a word, but is very very nice!
Reply to this commentQuite addicting. So many different ways to "play" the game, I find myself tending to various "gardens" of words/patterns around the map. I've got my Big Words garden, my Shock Words garden, a thorny patch full of two-letter words....
Reply to this commentand have any of you noticed the HELLO on the large board?
Reply to this commentThere are a ton of places on the board where clever people have built things - check out this tour guide to the Word² world built by an enterprising fan: http://j.mp/e8hQ7X
Reply to this commentThat was amazing! if you look at the board its as if millions of people have played! Great game!
Reply to this commentThis is cool. I wish it was easier to change the position of my tiles. Specifically moving a tile just one place seems to be impossible. A tile shuffling feature would also be nice.
Reply to this commentI keep getting "Transitions:InvalidTransition," seems like it comes up when I get to 10, 50 words. Then I have to log out before I can continue my game.
Reply to this commentThanks for reporting this - we'll look into it.
Reply to this commentit `s ok
Why is there a definite "spine" of pieces running through the centre? Was this set up already?
Reply to this commentNope, that was a bot. We don't explicitly disallow automated play; we simply ask that people identify their bots as such in the user agent so we can exclude them from human leaderboards.
Reply to this commentHave people got the web app?
Reply to this commentFun to kill time with and lets you continue to build up your score, but be sure to build in different directions so other players can't box you in while you're offline!
Reply to this commentBrilliant. Great example of many web technologies and fun to play.
Reply to this commentfantastic game for exercising the brain! My new favourite word game!
Reply to this commentThis is seriously a marvel. If I might suggest an improvement, how about a way to find a spot where other people are currently playing, in order to pit oneself against them. If one could do this it would mean the game would have similar characteristics to other MMOGs, as well as be more similar to the game you wound up not naming yours for.
Reply to this commentI thought Scrabble was boring.Until this happened.WOW.
Reply to this commentReally cool!
Reply to this commentWOW. This is totally awesome.
Reply to this commentWord² was originally created as an entry in the Node Knockout competition by me (@ggoodale), Jacques Crocker (@railsjedi) and Aviel Ginzburg (@aviel). It was originally called Scrabbly, which we later changed for obvious reasons. :)
Reply to this commentWord2-all positiv!
