Reply to this commentWow, Lukas Laag, what a great ap.
Reply to this commentyou're on the right track- this will most defiantly be a usable app for businesses and college students- I can see that it's basic at the moment, but I'm excited about your vision for this program
Reply to this commentNice work! Question -- why'd you pick canvas instead of SVG (it's already vectors, after all)?
Reply to this commentCircle is not round
Reply to this commentBut there is no circle tool, only an ellipse tool.
As for the problem of not being able to draw a circle or square, a simple solution could be to detect whether the shift key is held down, and if they are, make the drawer equalize the sides
Reply to this commentProbably hold down SHIFT?
if u pull it like perfectly it comes out to b a circle but its pretty hard 2 do so i agree tht the circle isn right?!
Reply to this commentYou are correct. It comes out as sort of an odd shaped ellipse.
Reply to this commentWorks great on Opera 10!
Reply to this commentNice work, but there's still a lot of work to do... :)
I knew that you can do this in a browser. Because there is an other great (!) webbased vector editer called "Raven" on http://www.aviary.com/
I think it's a better vector editor (and they're great vector artist there). But they worked a longer time on it. Ow and it uses Flash. Flash is a great as you can see (also look at the other Aviary apps ;) )
But I didn't know that you could do this in javascript.
Reply to this commentdamn this is cool, now you just have to find a way to save as an image :)
Reply to this commentWoops, double post...
Anyways it worked!!!
Reply to this commentAwsome, but won't load to me
Reply to this commentMmmm... Vectors
Reply to this commentVectors are GREAT! If you don't understand that, I think you REALLY don't know what you're ABLE to do with vectors.
So, please take a look at these examples: 1. ( http://tinyurl.com/avecto1 ) 2. ( ttp://tinyurl.com/avecto2 ) 3. ( http://tinyurl.com/avecto3 ) 4. ( http://tinyurl.com/avecto4 )

PS: And yes, these are all 'vector' images... (and you can try to open them, to see how they were made)
