ToneCraft lets you build music in 3D. The Y-axis represents the pitch of the tone, the X-axis represents the time and the different colors represent different instruments. The Z-axis makes it possible to layer sounds and to create whatever visual structures you like.

Reply to this commentReally buggy. Despite the cursor appearing to be clicking in the right place, the blocks often show up in adjacent squares. Deleting blocks also has this problem, and sometimes sides of cubes remain even after you've clicked...

Reply to this commentcould you please change the shortcut for removing blocks. because in Linux left alt is not passed to browser, it enables moving a window in any grabbed place.

Reply to this commentYou need to run ordinary Chrome, and it must be v 13 or later. Dosen't work in Canary at the moment.

in chrome canary i get a box saying the API is being worked on. can someone tell me how to get rid of the dialogue box please?
Reply to this commentYou need to run ordinary Chrome, v 13 or above. Then type "about:flags" in the url bar, scroll to Web Audio and enable it.

Reply to this commentThis experiment actually works better in ordinary Chrome than Canary at the moment. Can't even find the web audio flag in Canary.
