Reply to this commentCan anyone give me the link to the other one of this I know that there is another one that uses the browsers a bit more and I want to show my friends. It has people dancing across the browsers with the camera underneath them I don't make it sound very good but it is very cool.
Reply to this commentTHIS ROCKS
Like someone else said, I felt a very deep emotional connection to this mini film. Thank you. Amazing!
Reply to this comment:)
Reply to this commentReminded me of my youth... :*)
Reply to this commentThis experiment no longer seems to function. Doesn't work on current beta and canary. If you can find an address where it doesn't complain about insufficient street view data it just hangs at "Loading 97 percent" and never advances.

Reply to this commentUsing chrome 9, and getting "no plugin available to play this content". What's the solution?

Reply to this commentnice....!!!
Reply to this commentThat's completely crazy, dude, good job!!
Reply to this commentI don't think I'm going to let that truck come by and take pictures again. If I ever see that truck again, I'm going to pull out my gun and shoot the driver, steal the truck and go to google's campus and crash into the building and hold everyone hostage. I'm going to make everyone strip naked, and i'm going to have them surround the truck and I will take a panoramic photo. NEW GOOGLE CAMPUS PHOTO STREET VIEW.
Reply to this commentThis is going to be in the papers after another shooting
Reply to this commentyou have some SERIOUS issues dude, if you think thats funny.
Reply to this commentmy address doesn't work, same with the addresses of all my friends and all my schools -__-
Reply to this commentThey should use your IP address to locate you. It would add more effect as you recognise your house...

Reply to this commentI located my young childhood neighbor and his brother who were my best friends as a little girl. Haven't seen them since I was 8 years old when our families split apart. He sent this to me in response. Im 35 now.. I cried.... What a way to reunite..... It was beautiful...
Reply to this commentWhat a Storry. I think i'll also beginn to cry. Best luck to you and your friends
Reply to this commentVery good job but crashes when using Google Chrome.
Reply to this commentI have not been able to see the end as it keeps crashing. The furtherest I have got is to the postcard stage.
Reply to this commentI can't ever see the whole thing either. Just stops right in the middle, have tried about ten times now. I think the part I can see is brilliant though!
this made me cry :)
Reply to this commentThe first time I played this, it ran all the way through, although showed maps 100km away from the address I entered. Ever since then it has crashed 1/3 through the video. It's a great idea, but sloppy execution.
Reply to this commentTried running this 3 times and crashed every time on my chrome browser. Also, it can not find any address I typed in. I even used Google's address and it did not work.
Reply to this commentWorked great in Firefox but crashed every time in chrome. Experiment failed? I'd say so on their part. Still pretty lame even when it worked though.
Reply to this commentศิลปะอีกแขนง
Reply to this commentI forgot to ask- did anyone else get a reply to their postcard?
Reply to this commentI loved this when I did it months ago- I had no problems at all with the experiment & saved my picture. Watched on & off for a reply for awhile- then forgot about it. Tonight I checked and I had a reply- so cool. Of course I replied back as well...here's where you wait
Reply to this commentThis is so vapid and pointless, I assumed it must have been created by Microsoft. If this is the future of the web, I'm giving my computer to Goodwill.
Reply to this commentDestroy your computer and never post again. Your posting is worthless and ignorant. Go away.
Reply to this commentreply if you are here because of the hypnofeed
Reply to this commentim not understanding why this is so great, i thought it was completely useless. if i wanted to see the house i grew up in could have just looked it up on google maps and then I wouldnt have had to sit on my computer for half an hour trying to get it to load.
Reply to this commenti've heard about this, but every time I try to see it, it's lack and stop... I've tried on 4 different computers with chrome
Reply to this commentThough from what I could see using FF, it looks amazing. It could find my house. I know from experience that the other locations I tried can't be found in Google maps.
Reply to this commentSlow to the point of extreme frustration on a mac running FF. Doesn't even work on two chrome/vista computers.

Reply to this commentreally awesome, for the addresses, type letter by letter slowly so that it can correctly find your address
Reply to this commentthis is one of the most fascinating discoveries too date for me. I am an artist and enjoy the participating factors for us. It brings the experiment close to home-- so to speak. thanks for sharing.
Reply to this commentงานสุมหัวกัน
Reply to this commentI was gob-smacked when this first played. Sent a chill down my back seeing the house where I was born some 62 years ago. The arial view was just etherial! Respect to all who made this possible.
Reply to this commentthis is a remarkably well done object. from start to finish, it's a rare thing.
Reply to this commentreally, really cool mix of media. nicely done.
Reply to this commentThis is great! Worked first time on my address, in a small town in the middle of nowhere in UK! Very surprised. Shame you can't add numbers or punctuation to the postcard - and what actually is the postcard for?
Reply to this commentIt works at my house now! Try it again if it didn't work before.
Reply to this commenti like crooma and

Reply to this commentWow-ful but it always says not enough photos and it always stops and a blue screen appears... X(
Reply to this commentToitally blew me away. The map zppmed in on my old highschool. Love the drawing of the postcard too. Keep pushing it forward.
Reply to this commentVery good but it almost make my browser on my laptop crash.
Reply to this commentthe effect is good. but looking at the CPU utilization, it blows up to 99% while i am pointing the mouse to the birds....
Reply to this commentretryy
This was great!! I just thought the animated running guy should have been intergrated into street view, so he was running in your street!
Reply to this commentWell you could see an outline of him on the overview
Reply to this comment2 addresses neither worked what good is this.
Reply to this commentTried 3 different addresses, unable to find any of them. Frustrating!!
Reply to this commentOverall a ton of fun, well done. However the integration with Google maps leaves something to be desired. I used several addresses, all of which are accurate in Google maps, but in this, they were off the mark. One, the address I just moved from in Lincoln nebraska, ended up displaying somewhere unpopulated. I didn't recognize it. Get that fixed and it's a solid hit.
Reply to this commentMust be an echo in here.

Reply to this commentI love it! Love the music >_<
Reply to this commentHow has this only got 3.5/5. Its times like these where you need a 1000000/5 button
Reply to this commentBarely anyone can get their address to work fully. I can't either, which is acceptable for where I live (and have lived), but some people are really complaining.
Reply to this commentFANTASTIC! Is there any way to enter latitude and longitude instead of an address?
Reply to this commentAmazing!! but Google doesn't know where I live so I get some other address but its a place I used to go as a kid so its still cool ^^ to get my address I have to use my neighbors address >.<
Reply to this commentGood sutff! Well done, a great way to show what's comming with html5

Reply to this commentVery creative, the combination of various Google apps! Especially the sprouting trees in my place of birth, as there were more trees then than the street view images show now.
