From the Author:
SVG mazes is an educational game for young children. The goal is to solve randomly generated mazes of controlable complexity. Colorful artwork is used to make the mazes appealing to young children. Help is available. Use the arrow keys to move and the space bar to backtrack (or click on the arrow buttons or the eraser on the screen if you do not have a keyboard). As the game is SVG based, in ought to scale to any device resolution
Technology:
The game is developed using GWT, SVG, HTML5 canvas and lib-gwt-svg. The artwork comes from the http://www.openclipart.org/ site. The game runs in Chrome 7+, FF3.5+, Opera 9+. It does not work in Safari yet (old webkit version). IE9 support planned soon.

Reply to this commentThis maze is good .Both fun-wise and competency-wise.It will help children/people who confuse directions and have 'Orientation in Space' problems. As someone else suggested ,it would help if the courser is of darker colour.

Reply to this commentIt just uses SVG for the graphics.
Reply to this commentThe game works quite well, but I ran into a maze where the finish was not reachable; that would certainly be frustrating to a child.

Reply to this commentThe flashing yellow square is a bit hard to see--making it constant instead of blinking would make it a lot better.
