From the Author:

Enter a product in the search field.

Start out with 100 shoppers. Fire shoppers by pressing the space bar.

When a shopper makes it into the cave, a random product based on your search query is loaded from Google Product Search and displayed to the right.

You are awarded as many new shoppers as the dollar value of the product.

If you see a product you like, roll over it to have a closer look. Click the product if you want to get up close and personal.

The game is over when you run out of shoppers.

There's a (mixed) metaphor in there somewhere.

How To Win And Not Even Press The Spacebar

Step 1: Type in "rolex platnium".

Step 2: Press the space until you get at least one shopper in. The item should be no less then 2.5 k.

Step 3: Put a heavy item on the space ( I used a wiimote )

Enjoy your day, and you will be rich.

Don't just search "watch".

Search Platinum Watch, and you will get nothing less then 1k.

Would work in Firefox if the console detection code worked properly. Sadly, I had to use Greasemonkey to strip those parts. Awesome game anyway. :)

I did a search for t-shirts and came across one selling for $50,000. Sadly, the counter maxes out at 9,999, but now it won't go down.

Also, chrome is extremely slow now...

This is why people stopped using Java in favor for faster scripting engines.

I had a truck worth $20000 come up as a search result, and when the score tried to update, it slowed the game down tremendously. I think depending on how much it needs to add, the score should update in larger increments

I just got a ROLEX watch that worth almost $40000 and it NOT slowed down the game! So this is not a very good idea.
