there is nothing special in this
we can se these kind of creatures in windows media player also
Reply to this commentI doubt you did this on purpose - however, if you listen to "Up is Down" by Hanz Zimmer from the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 movie, the musical and visual transitions line up nearly perfectly.
Reply to this commentThe best alignment occurs when you start the experiment before the music, with as little time between them as possible. Just put the song on repeat and let it run!

Reply to this commentFor those of you who wanted a screensaver, I made one that is similar to this but not the same. It looks different but the concept is the same (it uses semi-transparent circles) and it still creates some awesome images. It can be downloaded at http://bennettmarsh.webs.com/kaleidoscope/kaleidoscope.htm

Reply to this commentHi.
I am Former President George W. Bush for Texas. Nobody Messes with Mayonnaise.
Reply to this commentI'm seeing a lot of requests for a screensaver, so I figure I'll make one if I'm not too busy. Note that I'm not actually one of the original developers, but the source is pretty easily obtained and converted to GML. Game Maker doesn't make the fastest apps, but it ought to be plenty efficient enough for this, and it's the fastest development environment I use, so I can whip something up in about a day if I feel like it.
Reply to this commentDon't forget to send the final .scr file to the original author ;)
Reply to this commentDon't worry, I'm going to host it and put the link on here so everybody can share the love! Don't expect it too soon, though, I have an art program that I'm currently making for the purpose of a specific assignment in art class, and time is of the essence if I want to be able to do the actual art part of the homework before the due date. I'll probably start work on the screensaver later this month, and work on it for at most a week, because most of the work has already been done for me.

Reply to this commentNone of the things on this site work on any version of IE, Download a better browser such as Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, or Safari.
Reply to this commentIt doesn't work under IE7 simply because it's the only one browser who DOESN'T support the "canvas" library :'(
Reply to this commentpress esc to pause then right click and select save image to save the picture (firefox)

Reply to this commentAwesome programming. I think this is one of the more practical examples yet (this and the Tetris game), to show how more powerful javascript may shape websites in the near future.
Reply to this commentThis is so cool!
This is very useful as a waiting-graphic, while a report loads in a browser. People will actually want loading times to be long, in order to see more of this beauty!
Works for me in Opera 9.52 and Firefox 3.0.5.
Does not work for me in IE6 (Surprise!)
Reply to this commentWould look very cool as a screen saver...very nice!
