From the Author:
To win this web game, you must create the longest line possible. The more segments your line has, the higher the score you can achieve.
Use the arrow keys or the mouse scroll-wheel to rotate your tile. Click with the mouse or press the spacebar to place your tile and watch your line grow.
Avoid walls and other players' lines, or your game will end. Once all players have placed as many tiles as they are able, the player with the most points wins!

Nice game. I better try it later. What will you get if you win the game by the way? I hope it'll give you some pinch of happiness. http://marketbold.com/KeywordMapPro/
Reply to this commentIt chose slimy fridgid ranger for my name... iam not fridgid
Reply to this commentI'd like to be able to preview the next piece. That would be helpful for those of us who are BAD at this game but want to do better.
Reply to this commentI signed on to the game this morning and realized that there is a different name from the one I was using (I did not change it), and my high score was no longer there (it showed a much lower high score from mine). Do you guys know of any incident where ppl are hacking into other ppl game accounts? It's just ridiculous, I don't even want to play it anymore. All the hard work I put out to reach my score for it to be taken away.
Reply to this commentthis puzzle is addicting but recently some of the segments are missing"paths", so I do not know where the next "click" will take me...any ideas?
Reply to this commentI used to enjoy the heck out of this game, but it doesn't seem to work any more. The site just keeps loading forever. Never even lets me sign in. Oh well.
Reply to this commentI love this! It's awesome, fun, and it's...Fun!
Reply to this commentam hooked!! my high score so far is 415.. ain't giving up till i get to 1500... i wonder whether its possible on the free board.

Reply to this commentKeyboard commands don't work. Bummer.
Reply to this commentHow can I change my entanglement 3-name character to a different one?
Reply to this commentWhen you sign in it should show at the top right under the key icon (sign in/out icon). Just double-click on your current name and choose a new one.
Reply to this commentI love this game!!! I have since the first version you posted. However when I play on my netbook I get the Aw snap! page from Chrome indicting the site crashed. This happens at the end of almost every game (not 100%). Any ideas how I can prevent this? I am running on Google Chrome using Jolicloud 1.2 on an HP Mini110.
Reply to this commentAndroid version, please!
Reply to this commentThe best way, for me, to improve the game, would be to move the rotate buttons - say, to , the center hexie. They really get on my nerves when you're trying to map-out your path. Also, if you could make the swap hexie rotatable, that would be amazing! FYI: I thought i had a pretty darn good strategy, but I just switched one part of it, and got my personal high score of 1026. I think that's gotta be how everyone else is getting such high scores. It's definitely not luck like some people think!
Reply to this commentHey, does anyone know how to get a different nickname for your account?
Reply to this commentInteresting game... I think a larger tile reservoir will greatly enhance the game. It feels too luck dependent at the time... very often I setup something until at a point without suitable tiles and some very long paths are just ruined. Maybe there is a way to play to avoid this situation, but I still think with only a choice of 2 tiles you can really not plan much. Right now highest score is around 700.
Reply to this commentI just bought the extra maps...how the hell do you change to the one you want?!
Reply to this commentThanks Ross! They're accessible via the main menu under "more modes".
Reply to this commentCan you download it?
Reply to this commentPLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! make this for windows phone 7

Reply to this commentAfter playing for three days I've hit 212, 252, 268 and 279! My top score finished with a 15 tile run! I love this game, it's straightforward yet complex and addictive. Great job, it's the best web game I've seen in years, going to download the iPhone game very soon.
Reply to this commentI gave up on web games awhile ago, but this... this is an awesome game! Love it... keep up the good work. I just found that you have an iphone/ipod version, going to go buy it.
Reply to this commentHas anyone found a good strategy that works for them on the first level? For example, stretching out to the border and then working your way around circling towards the middle, or staying close and tight against the origin piece?
Reply to this commentThis is what gets me 500-1000 average scores The first thing you want to do is surround the center hexagon with "U" shaped lines. Make sure you only put a U-shaped side next to the center. . then, work your way around the edges. . trying to get the edge lines to touch only OTHER edge lines. . killing them quickly. . then after the edges and center are filled, you should have a few in the middle that are still left to play, since all your lines are available, (because your center ones are Ushaped and your outer ones are touching OTHER outer ones) you will automatically have a LOT of options for LOTS of points. ; )
Reply to this commentTry to create long loops and tie them together to create very long paths. Work the whole game for one big move at the end. My high score so far is ~1100. I try to tie together loose ends from the middle and edges, and keep them as short as possible.
Reply to this commentgot 266 only :(
Reply to this commenthelllo , i closely looked and i found many of blocks are similar .. so just wanted to know that total how many individual blocks u designed to get so many combinations ..
Reply to this commenthi...i m 5yrs old and i hav scored 105 score the first time i played.....i m hooked on to it...
Reply to this commentJust got a 243, don't see how anyone cold possibly get in the thousands.
Reply to this commentthough didn't get it, I know its possible. just did a click for 351.. (make a chain of 26, gives 26*27/2). thats the trick.
Reply to this commentIt's definitely possible. The score goes up exponentially with the length of the path created on that play. (For length, L, on a given turn, the score is L(L+1)/2 = (L^2 + L)/2. i.e. a path of length 1 scores 1, a path of length 4 scores 10, and a path of length 40 scores 820.)
Yeah, I agree with you. Don't see how it's possible unless they've found a way to do loop-de-loops.
Reply to this commentYeah. Doesn't seem possible on the free map.
Reply to this commentVery fun! Just played my first game and got a 180. Cool! I'm not sure I've understood all the rules (swapping??), but I'm going to play again now!
Reply to this commentLove this game. Excellent alternative to Mahjong. 186 so far is my high. Scores over 1500? i feel so inferior......MUST CONQUER!! Love the music!

Reply to this commentThanks for the detail! I'll look into it.
Reply to this comment......
Reply to this commenti love this game. . . but what happened? the tiles are now seafoam green and the swap tile is all jumbled. (I'm using a Cr-48). It works fine on my Wubi computer (using Chromium)
Reply to this commentI'm not sure - I pulled it up just now on a CR-48 and cannot seem to reproduce the issue - could you check the error console and let me know if you're getting any errors?
Reply to this commentThis web app singlehandedly convinced me to learn JavaScript. I never knew pure HTML/CSS/JS was so powerful until now. Pure awesome. I profiled your web page--I think you could really reduce load times if you sprited all your images together. Just a suggestion.
Reply to this commentOk, thanks for the strategy tip, Mysterious.
Reply to this commentOk... I got 204 today, which - looking at these comments - isn't too shabby - but I look at the leaderboards and see score like 2500??? How is this even possible? Are there other levels or something? I've used all the tiles, even ended the line back in the center.. Where are those scores COMING from?
Reply to this commentUsing the game's scoring method, a single move that connects one's active path to a dead path that's already 70 segments long nets 2556 pts: (1 + 2 + 3+ ... + 69 + 70 + 71). Difficult, but apparently not impossible.
Reply to this commentIndeed. By a combination of planning, swapping and sheer luck, my last tile added 72 segments to the path - worth a whopping 2628 points. I don't think I'll ever beat this... but the game is still extremely addictive. Kudos to the developers, great job! http://picasaweb.google.com/jorisp/EntanglementHighscore#5558821095446928482
best thing seen so far!!! :D
Reply to this commentI can't find multiplayers mode and I can't play anymore with the keyboard. (What would be better, as my mouse wheel is broken.)
Reply to this commentOMG, I don't believe you addicted me on this.
Reply to this commentI was beating my best, about to place a nine point tile to go past 150 and to the last three open squares on the board... when the game reset. No error, no warning, no apology. just ended. which saddens me so much I might just go back to doing real work.
Reply to this commentSorry about that eric! I believe I found the issue and rolled out a fix for it this morning.
Reply to this commentYaw!!! Got it - 167;) A.W.E.S.O.M.E ! ! !
Reply to this commentwoo hoo! love the new interface and ability to swap tiles!
Reply to this commentCan you change the main picture so that it is from the new interface, or of that red tile logo?
Reply to this commentA new screenshot is up and the link has been updated to the most recent version as well - thanks!
Reply to this commentI really like the 6-player mode, and I play it by my self. It's a large board, and you can get long chains and big scores (I got 275 on my first go).
Reply to this comment171 on 2 tile filled all tiles
Reply to this commentGreat game all around. :)
Reply to this commentThis is the most addictive thing I have ever come across. I can't get a higher score than 145 and its driving me nuts.
Reply to this commentI love the new User Interface, solves some of the visibility issues.
Reply to this commentWhy can't I play Two-Tile anymore?
Reply to this commentIt keeps the fact you unlocked two tile in a temporary internet file, if you clear you temp files, you cant play two tile anymore :(
Reply to this commentIt will be nice if you can make this game 3d on a Truncated icosahedron:
http://www.cgl.uwaterloo.ca/~csk/projects/symmetrohedra/png/566.png
you can use some more chrome tricks that way
pentagons will require special rule i suppose
Reply to this commentWhat about 2-D with squares & triangles? 3-D would lead to some visibility issues (possibly). You would have to play on the surface and rotate the shape.
Reply to this commentCould you please change the "green" line colour in Two-tile to something a bit more discernible, it's too hard to make out through the other lines
Reply to this commenthaha 85:p
Reply to this commentWOW I just got 144 on 2-tile! I used all the spots! http://www.flickr.com/photos/51381895@N00/4800186055/
Reply to this commentSo addictive! Fantastic job!
Reply to this commentGreat game, very addictive, I love it ! Suggestion : add the possibility to cancel the last move. Thank you !
Reply to this commentThis is a great little game, I'm too ashamed to post my low score, but I love the game anyway.
Reply to this commentYES!!! 169!!! Absolite maximum!!! I don't want play more... (((((
Reply to this commentI just scored 113 on single-tile solitaire! Wow. That even beats my Two-Tile-Tangle high score of 110. However, I found a bug. In my rush to take a picture of my triumph, I accidentally had a bit of the window not showing when I hit Print Screen: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26356848@N04/4780335179/
I realized my mistake and then resized the window so it filled my screen. Oddly, when I resized the window, the final tile that I had placed became corrupted: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26356848@N04/4780970344/
I tried to remedy the situation by resizing the window again, and each time I did so the tile looked different (the strands of the final tile were in different configurations). Although the strands changed configuration, all the iterations still exhibited the same strange gradient on the strand. This happened in Firefox 3.6.6
Reply to this commentOh my goodness I just beat that score! Today is my lucky day! However, it was on Two-Tile-Tangle. http://www.flickr.com/photos/26356848@N04/4780558701/
Reply to this commentUPDATE: I managed to fix it by moving my mouse scroll wheel one notch, resizing the window, and then repeating those two steps until the tile returned to normal: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26356848@N04/4780375435/
Reply to this commentMy best was 56!
That's good for me.
Reply to this commenti got 79
Reply to this commentOMG 106 on Solitaire! http://picasaweb.google.com/alancnet/Public#5488022311294340706
Reply to this commentIt sometimes rotates randomly the moment I place a piece, causing me to lose. That is, it interprets my mouse click as a scroll, the moment I click, so it gets placed differently from how I saw it when I clicked.
Reply to this comment110! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE! :D http://www.flickr.com/photos/26356848@N04/4721688716/
Today sucked, so getting that score was probably the highlight. And in the game right after that one, I got 100. I absolutely smashed my old personal best of 93.
Props to you on making such a great game! It's addicting and fun and I love testing out strategies.
Reply to this commentje veux savoir comment faire pour vous lire chaque sur mon compte yahoo .
Reply to this commentGreat game, but the arrow keys don't seem to work any more. Was this functionality removed recently? My wife and I find it easier and less error-prone to play using the keyboard.
Reply to this commentThe keyboard functionality is working correctly on my system - I'll test it on some others and see if I can duplicate the issue you're having. Thanks!
Reply to this commentgame for intelligence! i love it ;)
Reply to this commentwoo! 64! BEAT THAT!!!
Reply to this commentOkay I did... 74 ^_^ But neither of us got enough to unlock the unlockable!
Reply to this commentMhm... just did 90

42! i pwnz u all! :P
Awesome! Beautiful idea, elegantly designed!
Reply to this commentdoesn't work :(
Reply to this commenthave you updated the game near 09-06-07? apart from it seems doesn't work, it has fewer play modes...
Reply to this commentYes, I just updated it last night - it should work fine if you refresh the page. The play modes are all there, I just moved the local 'multiplayer' modes to a separate page and added another solitaire mode.
Reply to this commenti got 69 (most) on a single player game! YAY!
Reply to this comment104, great game!
Reply to this commentAwesome and really fun!
Reply to this commentI got 165 (on a 6-player game). I'm blue. http://s634.photobucket.com/albums/uu70/chald627/?action=view¤t=Entangledscore.png :D
Reply to this commentThis time i got 92 with all pieces... Nice addicting game :)
Reply to this commentI got 61, fun game!!!!! :):):):)
Reply to this commentMy only problem is that accidentally right-clicking stuffs the whole thing up, as you have to click to remove the right-click menu, and that makes you take as move, and then you lose :( Otherwise, awesome fun!
Reply to this commentEscape works well too. :)
Reply to this commentOh, yeah? Got 130, and a pic of the game to prove it.
You should set up a high-score database. More like a Leaderboards-esc type of thing...but you get the idea. While I'm at it, actually, let me say a few things: This is a great game, you should make a stand-alone version, and (I know this'll take a bit of effort) you should make an online multiplayer version.
I agree with Greg's comment, but I think Daniels would only be cool as a different mode...I like having time to think about my moves, but yeah, the lines can be too close.
What about an infinite no-border mode? That would be a great way to rack up a crazy score!
Reply to this commentWow! I'd like to see that screenshot.
Good comments - if I can make any of these happen I'll post it back here.
Reply to this commentI'm glad all of you enjoy it! Thanks for the comments, Greg and Daniel; I'll keep that in mind.
Amazingly, the highest score someone has achieved so far, to my knowledge, is 124.
Reply to this commentAwesome game!!!
I got 73.
Reply to this commentReally Good game. Thanks man
Reply to this commenta suggestion would be a time limit per tile
Reply to this commentVery well done! It's really fun. The only complaint I have is that sometimes lines on a block you are placing can be kinda close, making them easy to mix up.
Reply to this commentI agree, but it's still a good game.
Reply to this commentGreat job!!! I got 46.
Reply to this comment61. OH!!!
Reply to this commentYes first comment! Great job!
