Launch Experiment
Not working? This is a WebGL experiment, so try running it with Google Chrome.
Hey! We highly recommend you launch this experiment in Google Chrome. It may run slower, or not at all, in other browsers.
Okay, I'll download Google Chrome I'm willing to risk it

Reply to this commentThis is simplistic but I like it. It would be nice if you can make it to a music game that was compatible with mp3 files. I would play that game. Should add a bit more small details and perhaps make it a bit more interesting. It'd also be good as one of those "Windows Media Player" visuals that went to the music. :) Good job!
Reply to this commentIt's kind of cool but boring after 1 minute
Reply to this commentVery cool, but a bit simplistic. It's basically just the same thing over and over again and gets quite boring fairly quickly. It's a nice idea, but it doesn't really measure up to similar things - 3 Dreams of Black, for example. If there was more to the setting or perhaps a plot, or if we could interact with the application, it'd be heaps better.
Reply to this commentvery cool, took me away to another world especially with the music accompaniment
Reply to this commentI want this as a screensaver! Very cool!
Reply to this commentWould be cool if you could interact with the trees and ground and such... SO cool though!
Reply to this commentvery very nice

Reply to this commentFrom what I have understood by reading the code, the synchronization between music and visualization is kinda fake. A music "volume" level is hard coded in the script in an array, and based on the time cursor the script gets the correct volume from the array, indexed by the time. A new music means a new array of volume too.... Anyway, still love this demo!

Reply to this commenthowcome webgl doesn't work for me. I have chrome 14.0.1 point something. Do I have to have something different? I am running vista 32 bit
Reply to this commentI do know that at least Intel graphics chips are black listed on Windows deue to incompatible drivers.. You can try to run Chrome with the --ignore-gpu-blacklist parameter (rightmouse click on icon->properties).
Reply to this commentI'm running XP and it wasn't working for me either. Some Googling revealed that it Chrome had blacklisted WebGL since version 10, at least for XP due to some crashing problems. The solution is to add the --ignore-gpu-blacklist switch to your Chrome shortcut and it should re-enable it. I'm not sure about Vista 32, but it's worth a shot.
Reply to this commentI was having trouble also, until I went to Chrome's about:flags, and enabled Override software rendering list, 'cause my GFX card wasn't supported. Other than that, make sure you have the latests drivers, etc...
Reply to this commentNice, it uses the melody of a song from the Terminator 2 soundtrack! "Trust Me"
Reply to this commentAwesome work! Is it just a loop or on-the-fly generated forest?

Reply to this commentI would have liked it better if something was chasing the wanderer :) , but it was still awesome.
Reply to this commentHa, funny you should say that, since it reminds me of the game "Hide", which is basically what you just described.-----http://tinyurl.com/64ryxpo

Reply to this commentThis was superb. It would be beyond awesome if you scripted this to be compatible with other music--whether it be upload-service-type custom music or just a list.
