Hey! We highly recommend you launch this experiment in Google Chrome. It may run slower, or not at all, in other browsers.
Use the mouse to paint new particles on the canvas or drag one of the three spawns around.
IN POWDER TOY IS EVRY THING AND ITS FREE!
I made the most realistic looking frog... but I burned it. lawl
You copied falling sand!
a me non escono i puntini mi esce una cosa strana
This is Burning Sand.
needs more elements like the powder game
its fantastic elaments dots
wow its fantastic now and always i go to chrome experiment because i go to the game of elements dots i ..... i like it ;) :)) ♥ Å < tower o
ganda talaga ng elements dots :)) ♥ Å < tower o
I really love this game! But I think it could be improved. It would be nice with more elements, interactive objects and full screen.
reply to me if you think it should be full screen
Uno de los mas entretenidos, fascinantes, impresionantes e ingeniosos de todos los ''experimentos'' de Google, me gusta mucho, se los recomiendo a todos.
nice should have tone9like solid only notflamable.
sorry typo Stone like *
Hey do you think it would be possible to create interactive objects in the thing? you know like boats to burn
Looovee it !! very entertaining! Keep the update!
Well, this experiment is very cool and I enjoyed it a lot, but there are a few glitches, which I have patched. The comment system doesn't allow me to post URLs somehow, so I will reply anyone who'll drop me an email (especially the author).
Okay. Check http://files.whitequark.org/dots/
forgot to post the email: email@example.com ;)
Yea powder game is sooooo much better
um.....fire can't fall.....unless its burning on something and that something falls......................
i drawed titanic ang put waer in her :D
i cnad splel ether. yayy ztoopid peepls.
I noticed that if you set a single pixel of oil alight, it duplicates into many pixels of oil. Thus violating the law of conservation of mass. Fun game though :)
Very interesting! But it is possible to create a mountain of water in the game (Element=water, size=large, pressing the left mouse button and then moving the mouse heavily over some "land")... This seems a little counter-intuitive... Maybe it needs some adjustments in the viscosity of the water. :o)
same with oil
OMG I LOVE THIS GAME! Thanks f or SHARING!
i want to try it with people in it like with dust
This is so addicting, i played it for 3 hours and counting *_*
OMG! YOU MUST BE SEEING THINGS CONSTANTLY WAVING AND SEEING SPIRALS AND CIRCLES AND LINES AND STUFF! WOW
I am certainly glad I don't know you. Wait, now I do. DOH!
this is a lot like the powder game. if you liked this, google powder game and click the first link
The powder game is so much better, I was thinking that the entire time while I played this
Great, really owesome!
But this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communicating_vessels
I'd say those copied the concept off Dust - http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust/
but a good experiment nonetheless
thank you so much for posting that link now dust is all i play!
This is a rip-off of Powder Toy!
Powder Game is older, I believe.
this is the same as the sand game just more pixilated
Water don't act like real water, it don't obey Communicating vessels law
I agree. ^_^
Lol. The guy who made this copied it from an old game.
this is a bit like the powder game, only less advanced
thanks !! i loved that game
I've tried those games and man are they awsome! and they have more elements that this one
i think it's great... however, fire burning oil means the oil should burn away at some rate. also, i tried to create an inverted pocket to catch the steam... it would be nice if the steam would condense and drop water. ta-da!
I like it, but it seems a bit of a copy of a game I used to play called Falling Sand. Just saying!
Fun experiment, definitely a good start. Good job!
one problem I found - pressure doesn't work correctly - to explain what I mean, look at this screenshot: http://omploader.org/vNDg0cQ . In real life, the cavities should fill too.
Otherwise, fun, and definitely a winner for time-wasting ;)
refering to the screenshot/ it would do that in real life beacuse it creates a pocket of air
if you made a passage that extended above the level of matter then i should fill up that gap
it is every good to learn more about technology
The top left of the solid is being created when you click. instead should the solid be created at the middle of your mouse?
man i wish there was a bigger eassaer and and large and small land thing but i love it!!!
This is awesome! I love this game!
powder is waaay better
this is based on falling sand game
Holy crap! I'm been playing this one for about 3 hours at a time, and the only reason I stop is because my parents yell at me till they're blue!!!
lol my parents are the same
this is exsactly like hell of falling sand
pyro sand is similar and better
nice to see the kill fire button :)
is like pyro sand or falling sand
Definitely a good start, you probably can get some better performance and hence can managed even more dots if you use canvas pixel manipulation to draw them instead of rectangles. Can't wait to see how you improve and expand this experiment!
Follow the laws of physics for once !
reminds me of the powdetoy
The fire still runs even when you suffocate it in solid... impossible.
fun as this may be. Dan ball powder game is much better, but for a civilian designing this it is awesome.
i have seen a lot of these, and while most of them are better than this, they are all equally fun. you can just search powder game on google and find a really good one.
yeh, speaking of vgxmaster's comment, there is a program very similar (but much more complex) version of this, here's the link: http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust/
amazing, an improvement: being able to change the dot size
This is so much fun!
On a serious note, this is freaking amazing. I saw this once somewhere, and lost it . Thanks for reinventing genius!
For the first version I wanted this to keep as simple as possible, therefore no spawn adding and just one dot size. Maybe in a future version.
That would be the Falling Sand game. Still awesome to see in JS, but I kinda wish you could add more spawns or change the particle size.
