This is an experiment I did a little while ago. It allows you to draw 3D isometric pictures by dropping little blocks. It was open to user submissions for a while and some people had amazing patience!

Reply to this commentThere is a bug that I find on multiple computers. After a certain amount of time or bricks, it won't let you do anything except for play construction. Is there a reason? Is there a way of solving it?
Reply to this commentUsing Chrome 6.0.472 in Windows 7 Pro, works just fine. Nice demonstration, would have liked it if there was a capability to get a stream of blocks by simply holding the mouse button, instead of having to click individually every time. Agree about MineCraft comment. =)
Reply to this commentIf you enable movement of the camera you've almost got an early version of minecraft :D
Reply to this commentLol yeah!
Reply to this commentreally good experiment, hate the bug when you piled up many blocks and then tried to destroy them.... and, why is saving disabled?

Reply to this commentHi, I'm using Google Chrome in Windows 7 and, although this is a great idea, it seems to crash after I lay a few bricks down. It doesn't stop working altogether...I can still destroy bricks, replay building, select different colors. However, it won't let me lay down any more bricks. I haven't figured out what causes it exactly, but all I'm trying to do is copy the megaman screenshot on this page. Hopefully you can fix it soon! Thanks
Reply to this commentI believe that this experiment is designed to run in Windows XP. Windows Vista and 7 may have compatibility issues.
Reply to this commentMe too!!
Reply to this commentI get the same problem :-(
Reply to this commentUsing latest Minefield build and also having that problem, after I used the destroy tool, I can't lay down any more bricks.

Reply to this commentThis is cool! I found a little bug, where if I have a tall tower of cubes, and start blowing them up from lower down (I think it's cool how they all explode upwards and then land back down btw :D) if I blow them up like I had a personal vengeance, i.e. clicking like mad, they freeze in the exploded position so I have load of cubes floating in mid-air. It makes me lol
good work anyway :D
Reply to this commentthe shadow stays too!!!

Reply to this commentThis is really cool, but I'm having the same problem as many others where I'm not able to drop any more cubes after a little while. I've tried over and over, but I keep getting the problem. Is there any way you can fix this? :c
Reply to this commentHey, I see mega man! lol
Reply to this commentI realized, like the others, I can't drop cubes anymore. I couldn't finish my thing. D:
Reply to this commentWhy does it stop letting you drop blocks after a short while?
Reply to this commentWhy does it stop letting you drop cubes after a while. It's kind of annoying. :/
Reply to this commentAwesome experiment! :D I wish saving wasn't disabled, though...
Reply to this commentPretty cool, there is a bug when you blow up a cube above a cube you just blew up while its in that transition state.
I think it'd be cool to be able to drop a timebomb that would blow up all cubes within radius x, and projectile all cubes within radius x to x * 2 outward from the timebombs center..so we can build stuff and blow it up!
Reply to this commentVery nice! I too had the problem with not being able to add more blocks, wasn't able to reproduce the issue though.
Reply to this commentIt's cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
