LOOKS REALLY FUNNY HAHA!
Reply to this commenti wonder how many you could do before it got out of hand. 5 minutes? 30 mins? 2 hour movie!!?!?!?!
Reply to this commentI fail to see the reason of this experiment's existance. You can achieve motion illusion by preloading images and use a simple setTimeout to go through them. But still I don't know why you would want to do that since we have animated gifs and videos...
Reply to this commentahhh dear Jnick, tiz a bit of fun. dw bout it lol
Reply to this commentAh, yes. The anatomy of an animated GIF.
Reply to this commentYeah!!! now press CTRL+SHIFT+TAB... You have inverted playback....
Reply to this commentit is great and it can be made more powerful if the background of the images are also changed and which gives the feel of real movement
Reply to this comment:)
Reply to this commentIts like a flip book.
Reply to this commentThey're bringin' flipbooks back.
Them other browsers don't know how to act.
Reply to this commentits pretty cool but the only way i can see it is by closing the windows super fast
Reply to this commentHold down control + tab to scroll through them quickly.
Reply to this commentCongratulations! You have just created the "cinématographe"! :)

Reply to this commentIt goes crazy is you delete all of the tabs except 1 and 12
Reply to this commentit opened the tabs way to fast, before they could load.
Reply to this commentmy coimputer has a super low res. so i didnt see the hold control and tab.
Reply to this commentThis is HORRIBLE.
It crashed my computer.
It opened about 100 windows and kept opening more.
I DO NOT THINK IT IS READY FOR THE PUBLIC YET.
Reply to this commentlol no safari
Reply to this commentIt's in the public, special.
Reply to this comment"Experiment"
Also, it only opens about 12 or 15 windows.
Reply to this commentHEY IT OPENS 18 TABS MEH ON SLOWER COMPUTERS DON'T RUN ONLY GOOD PCS BECAUSE IT SHOWS INSTANTLY THAT'S THE DESIGN TO GET THE MOTION, OTHERWISE U CAN'T FEEL U WATCHING A MOTION

Reply to this commentSo, what are yall's doin back here?
Reply to this commentIt works with Ctrl+PgUp in Firefox 3.6 nightlies, Ctrl+Tab is the tab preview overlay whatever.
Reply to this commentThis is really great
Reply to this commentYou realize that adding "Don't run in Safari" underneath just makes those of us running Safari wonder "Why not?"
It does work in Safari so long as you hold down Cmd/Ctrl when you click on the button. I'll let you discover what happens when you don't...
Reply to this commentClever and fun! :)
Reply to this commentNot much of an experiment as it is that you put a bunch of pics together and tab-browser quickly though them. Nice though
Reply to this commentVery Good! ;)
Reply to this commentsfdfd
Reply to this commentWorks perfectly fine with Midori too.
Just need to focus the tabs and press "left" or "right" keys (ctrl+left and ctrl+right isn't implemented yet).
I don't see this as being particularly special for Chrome. I'm sure most browsers can perform this trick pretty easily, even if they don't support tabs. If you have only the browser open, I can see someone being able to press and hold (both) alt+tab and get the same results; though it would be a strain on their processor. ;)
Reply to this commentSeems to run a lot faster in Chrome tho.
Reply to this commentworks perfectly in safari 4 - both forward and backwards:)
Reply to this commentI'm sorry, but, what kind of lame experiment is this? It's called tabbed-browsing. What?
Reply to this commentIt is rather lame that experiments keep showing "This Google App Engine application is temporarily over its serving quota. Please try again later." -- if Google want to showcase this, then please remove this quota license...
Reply to this commentImages not loaded
Reply to this commentDon't work in Chrome 1.0
Reply to this commentI can believ you still use chrome 1.0
Reply to this commentupdate Chrome, you idiot!
Reply to this commentIt's even more fun when you hold down shift-ctrl-tab. Horse walks backwards.
Reply to this commentWhy didn't I though of that? Simple and cool idea :)
Reply to this commentNo.. it doesnt works...
Reply to this commentWorks nice. it also works in firfox
