Launch Experiment
Slow? Not Working? Try it in Google Chrome.
Hey! We highly recommend you launch this experiment in Google Chrome. It may run slower, or not at all, in other browsers.
Okay, I'll download Google Chrome I'm willing to risk it

Reply to this commentA la JasonSage, makes me wanna play with a different Bezier sketching model. Maybe you just plop down points and it draws a smooth spline through them. You hold down some modifier to make a straight line segment and some other modifier to make a sharp corner.
And since SVG makes it relatively easy to do pretty things with the path once you've got it -- draw text along it, animate along it -- maybe offer some of those.
If I man up and write this sketcher, this was the inspiration. :) Nice work.
Reply to this commentgreat work plty you cant do it in three D, you would have something to shout about.
Reply to this commentSO useless. And boring. And _technically_ boring.

Reply to this commentNice but it doesn't behave like a vector drawing tool at all.. and just drawing bezier curves with canvas is rather easy, it's built in. Other than that it's really nice though.
Reply to this commentGreat work! A 3D version of this would be awesome!
Reply to this commentNicely done, but in my experience, the best bezier tools alter the curve in both directions when you do a click and drag.
For example, you make a point, then click and drag to make the next point and curve the line coming in. But when you make the third point, there is a sharp cut where you the line meets the second point.
To correct this, mirror the curve of the outgoing line for both directions when you do a click-and-drag point, so that when you make the third point you now have a perfectly smooth curve.
Good job though, nicely done.
