I like it! I wish the power-ups would persist across levels, though -- otherwise why spend time vaccuuming up the power-ups at the end of the level if they're just going to go away!

Far comment sir! And just for you, they now do! You only loose power ups when you get hit.

I love this website, but my question is: is there any way to stop the enemy-ships on the astroids game?

it would b good if there wasnt as much thrust and the ship would actually slow down

I think the ship needs inertia, so that after you move, you eventually slow down. Otherwise, once you move, you are constantly moving, which makes it hard to control the ship and your shots for the rest of the level.

There is no resistance in space... no matter how much inertia a mass has, it will not slow down unless there is some sort of force applied to it.

It's true. Even the original arcade version never had inertia. The law of inertia stays that an object in motion will stay in motion unless there in a force slowing it down. Without air resistance or gravity, there is nothing to slow the ship down.

Good game. Everything I wanted from the original. I love the shield. Sadly I can barely control my movement.

With the movement, That's what happens in space!

True but I felt I had more control in the original game. I really like this though.
