Sandy-HX is a 3D engine that was ported from ActionScript to Haxe, giving it the ability to create 3D JavaScript applications (rendered through the canvas element). Chrome is the only browser that can render JavaScript Sandy-HX applications at an acceptable speed.

Looks amazing in the screen shots unfortunately I'm getting nothing in my version of chrome, but thats what I should expect when testing beta

Reply to this commentHey! This experiment is awesome! I've been wondering why its taking so long for 3d js api's to be developed. Web apps are the wave of the future, and something like this is probably going to be the future of video games (can't wait to play games on a netbook). FYI - I'm so interested in this stuff b/c of a physics course I took that used a 3d library written in python. If you need info on developing a physics engine, then I would look into these texts (they teach physics through computer simulation which the student programs):
